Who is Carol Balsillie?
Carol previously taught in Toronto for 15 years before moving to Kitchener to raise her family. She continued to teach online and also helped families with their health and wellness. Once she decided to open a Kumon Centre, she started the training and decided Elmira was the perfect place to offer this service to families.
Carol attended extensive Kumon training in New Jersey to become a certified professional instructor. She serves as a mentor who guides children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. She creates an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments.
Overall, the Kumon Method has helped many students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, Carol is a lifelong learner and she has a true passion for education and a desire to help children succeed. She looks forward to helping your child succeed!
