On this episode, we had the privilege of having a wonderful conversation with Jessica Shoemaker to talk all about her photography business, Jessica Lynn Photography. Jess is also one of our incredible assistants who help us run our office at Elmira Family Chiropractic.

More about Jess
Jess has always been fascinated with photographs. It amazed her how real life could be transformed into a picture with a simple click of a button. As she grew older, she realized the complexity of a photograph, and that it was more that just the simplicity it seemed to be.
As a Sheridan graduate, she was taught the fundamentals of how a camera worked, how to light subjects properly, and was given the time and all the camera gear she could ever want to learn about shooting. She learned amazing things at Sheridan, but nothing taught her more than working at a studio and figuring out how to apply all the tips and tricks she learned in school.
For the past ten years, she has had the privilege of working with studios and other professionals in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. During this time she has been given the opportunity to shoot at some amazing events and the time to grow her own business.
Along with being a mother and our assistant, Jess is a mother to two children, wife and (as she says), a farmers “helper” 🙂 You can also learn more about her in a blog she wrote here.
