5 Things You Should Know About Carrie
This month when you come to the office you may notice a new face in the afternoon – Carrie Martin! With Carolyn retiring the end of 2017, we have brought Carrie on board and are very excited to have her on our team. Here are a few things you should know about Carrie:
1. She was born and grew up in Northern Ontario
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, she loved the dry summers and snowy winters. Her family had a hobby farm where she spent the first 13 years of her life alongside her 6 older brothers and sisters. Later she moved to Guelph. Now she lives in north Waterloo with her husband Dale who is in school to become an Electrical Engineer and who grew up on a farm in St. Jacobs.
2. She loves being around people and is very personable.
Growing up in a larger family and being the youngest, she was always surrounded by people…she also has many nieces and nephews that she adores. Not only does she enjoy being around people, she enjoys helping people and giving back to her community, including at her local church.
3. Health and fitness are a big part of her life.
With her father being a dentist and her mom a nurse, a healthy lifestyle was always important to her family. They spend a lot of time together skiing and enjoying the outdoors. Some of her favourite actives are pilates, running, biking and swimming.
4. Carrie has been going to the chiropractor since she was a small child.
As a child, Carrie started going to the Chiropractor. Now both her and her husband feel it is an integral part of what keeps them healthy and feeling better.
5. Has two brothers who are also Chiropractors
Both brothers studied Chiropractic in the states. Now one practices in Sudbury and the other in Chatham.
